Uh, because uh, you know, obviously they didn't know when they were finishing Rebels what exactly the future was gonna be for Thrawn or Ezra or any of those characters, but the characters that they cared about, that they wanted to set up for the future, be it animated, be it live action, of course we wound up with live action.

They set them up really well with Hera, Sabine, Ezra.
Zeb, like all of them are are set up really well for the future at the end.
Thron as well, of course.
At the end of Rebels and Rook is just forgotten about.
So it was almost like Rook was
less a character, more an Easter egg, honestly.
Um, a very prominent Easter egg, but y you know, they didn't really they didn't really seem interested in engaging with that character or or his backstory beyond Thrawn's cool alien assassin.
