Uh and so he fought to get that that freedom, and that's why uh and that's where you know when Star Wars comes out and it's the hit, he gets to then do it.

And so he's goes into those movies.

uh you know thinking he's not thinking what do audiences want to see but he's thinking something closer to

What do audiences not know that they want to see?

Right.

Because I don't think audiences, if you'd polled people in in 1976, what do you want to see?

Oh, a space fantasy about uh you know with a about a farm boy and a princess and a rogue, and there's a there's a monkey man who's on the adventure with them and an old wizard, and they're all fighting this guy who's uh looks like a robot, sounds like a robot, but isn't a robot.

You know, like I don't think people were thinking about that.

And and so when he s does Empire, Jedi, Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, he's just doing

his own thing and he's trying to think what do people not know that they want to see from a Star Wars movie.

And i in some cases he was right.

In some cases he was wrong.

And in some cases, it would take years for him to be proven right.

Uh, and that's ultimately what you got.

Whereas I think we see sometimes with the revolving door of filmmakers that that work on these shows and these movies, uh

That they don't have that freedom and they can't get their script, they can't get their scripts together to a place that both they like and the studio likes.

And that's why we haven't seen a lot of these projects that have e that have either been rumored or been announced.

And it's very rare to get stuff that actually where people are on the same page.

And that stuff tends to be.
