The ducks have arrived.

The flying V has landed.

The contention window is open.

And look, we know the Oilers have injuries, and we'll get to that, but...

I just think that the Ducks deserve the credit.

They did not fluke into this series victory.

They won it fair and square.

They earned it.

They were the better team for most of the series, and I think they've got some guys playing hurt, too.

Probably the guy I'm happiest for in some ways is Jackson Lacombe because he was fantastic, and he had another great defensive play on a one-on-one with McDavid in the first period of the game.

Lacombe got a big contract at the beginning of the year, the biggest money in Ducks franchise history.

And a lot of people in the sport already knew how good he was and how good you look at it.
