All right, I'll go with Mitch Marner, the obvious pick.
He's the frontrunner right now, leads the postseason in points.
I feel like there's a compelling case for a Jack Eichel, for example, if Vegas wins.
I feel like from a storytelling perspective, if Vegas does wind up winning the Cup, the people voting on it, I mean, it's going to be pretty clear that the juiciest storyline is having Mitch Marner win the conspiring.
So if Vegas wins it, he feels like a log.
Well, that's why Freddie Anderson is by far their favorite.
And that's my pick.
a different profile of stanley cup team as well and he's been really good for them he's eaten huge minutes and without one standout statistical guy i think there's at least a chance for him yeah he leads the team in ice time um he has the points up funny enough i know it doesn't look like a lot eight but if you look just for carolina he's only behind that top line yeah in scoring in the storyline there as well as the guy that kind of put them over the top this season compared to previous postseason so i like it
And you're right.
I think it will come down to probably who just has the most points in this series.
It feels like one of those years when I remember when Jonathan Marsh won it last time for Vegas.
He just went off as a goal scorer in the Stanley Cup final and kind of stole it from probably a couple more deserving guys.
So am I next on the clock here?
Yep.
I hate how you guys have boxed me in here because I would pick Carolina to win the series.
I know.
And unfortunately, my first two picks are both Vegas guys, but I'll go Jack Eichel.
Sure.
You know, if he wins the matchup against Sebastian Ajo, for example, power versus power, has the points as well.
I believe he's only Mitch Marner in scoring this postseason and scores a couple goals.
