I could not take a picture of any Union monument.

The camera would turn off.

But I could take other pictures.

That played with my head.

By then we owned the house so I was kinda keyed into things.

I'll fast forward the spring my grandson and I um were in Gettysburg.

our second experience, but I'll start with that first because it ties in since I'd been to Gettysburg the last time I had researched.

and found out that my great great grandfather, Frank Champion, was in the fifteenth Alabama that attacked Little Round Top.

I had three great great great uncles, the last name of Jarvis and the forty seventh Alabama, which was on their flank, also attacking Little Round Top.

So my grandson and I go to the Alabama monument.

And I read the names of my family members off while my grandson took photos as fast as he could.

Um he took fifteen photos, three of them had orbs.

No two in a row.

These weren't duffed.

you know, orbs or anything like that.

I'm also a professional photographer.
