It dates to the eighteen thirties.
Um we started restoring it and had just some strange things happen.
Um, one of the first things we did, the house was in very rough shape.
One of the first projects I undertook was to repair a portion of the front porch.
And it took oh you know, an afternoon after work till about the time it's getting dark.
Well I want to leave.
grab the the brass doorknob of the the wooden door.
Went to pull it shut and it was pulled backwards out of my hand.
And this is an easy door to move.
I'm looking to see if it could have caught something and
Nothing.
It just
Kinda left me wondering.
came back the next day and there was a pine cone.
Right, smack in the middle of the
repaired portion of the porch upright.
Um something had to place it there.
I don't know why a person would do that.
But that just got me kinda thinking.
So I was looking into, you know, the symbolism of pine cones, which, you know, the s the third eye, the spiritualism, kind of a welcome as another Victorian.
