I had a copy of it.
The most famous story in that book, and I never gave Mick permission to use this, nor did I ever see a dime for it.
So you're welcome.
This is like when I put New Japan's business through the roof and didn't even get a thank you card.
People are jealous of me.
It's always been the case.
But here's the deal with Mick.
He put the story in there.
I had been fired from WWF and I had a newspaper column.
And I need something to write about.
I was writing about the fact that isn't it weird in wrestling that there aren't any agents?
Like Jesse Ventura and Hulk Hogan were the only ones that had agents at that time.
This would be in the late 90s.
So, and I referenced a memo that I had received while working for WWF from Mr. Jim Ross, the head of talent relations, that said, hey, I know all you guys really are thinking about getting agents because you see it being done in Hollywood, and it's fine, you're well within your rights to do it.
It's just a shame that if you do that, it deprives the talent of the opportunity to negotiate for themselves.
So I said, yeah, that's like saying,
Um, you know, it's, it's, it's a mistake for a patient that needs surgery to go to the hospital because it deprives the sick person of the opportunity to perform surgery on themselves.
And this got me blackballed from WWF buildings for a period of, I think, five years.
But anyway, um,
Jim Ross was not happy with me because I made him look ridiculous for what he had written in this memo.
