when they go and cover like what Americans are feeling, they treat them sort of like zoo animals.

I thought Pamela Brown did a really great doc on the white Christianity because she's from that world and she treated it with great respect and it was smart and thoughtful, but that's the exception.

Very too often, you get too many people that are focused on like,

dumb drama that most Americans don't necessarily care about.

So I think if you could teach them how to do Man on the Street and coverage from Middle America, that would be great.

but that shit is cringe don't do it and i i mean i feel bad for like jake and anderson because they they're game they tried it and they caught a lot of help and they you know they're loyal team players and if the executives say like let's do it this way like okay i'll do it yes sir i'll i'm there for it and yet they're the ones that are going to catch the helm and in fact

know they're the executives should know this like they should have the idea like being on air talent is hard enough to be a journalist but to also take programming directions from people that end up sort of backfiring doesn't engender a ton of trust and i don't think that they did anyone a lot of favors but fortune favors the whole you know and i do think the nation's healthier for a straw the nation's better with a strong cnn so i i'm hoping cnn can figure it out sooner rather than later
