Well, let me first say I came out of the Army in August of 1968.
And I swore to myself I wouldn't get married till I was 30 years old, at least.
I was 22.
Six months later, I was married to this wonderful woman.
And it was love at first sight, honestly.
We met through a mutual friend and I was just smitten.
She's beautiful.
She's gentle.
She's everything a man would want in a wife.
And we've been married 57 years.
Uh, and want to make it 75 or a hundred years if we came in.
