That I didn't appreciate.

Whatever they're going through is still a big thing for them, but you can't even think of it as a big thing because it's like, give me a break.
It's nothing, but it's big for them.
And so you definitely put a lot of that sort of emotion aside.
It's like you've just been a beast in a cage, prodded for a while, that you'd sort of adjust to that normalcy, but it makes it actually very hard
to be sensitive to other people's ideas and emotions.
Yeah, 100%.
I saw it on an airplane once, where the guy... I used to do a little bit of free climbing, so yeah, I have that underdeveloped sense of self-preservation, and pretty much I'm a pilot, I do the trimix dive.
Or it's already underdeveloped, so it takes that much more stimulus to actually get any sort of excitement out of life.
And that's what it was like.
So after 16, you work so hard, you sort of become like... I mean, there's something cool about being pseudo-rock star, right?
