And I think I'd had children, I'd got so wrapped up in life and just working and running fast on that treadmill and not looking around me that I suddenly went, of course, the language that you use to yourself is really, really important when you're public speaking.
Or you would say, I am loving this.
And even though it feels fake at first, it soon fits you like a new skin if you say it over and over.
You're just making neural pathways.
And if you stop walking the old neural pathways, they grow over like nature will cover it up again with flowers and grass.
You don't go down that.
I'm a terrible person.
I can't do anything new.
You make new ones, which is I'm open to new things.
And oh my goodness, it works.
It really changes things.
Not to say that it has been smooth.
It's been a struggle.
And every time I go to do something new, I have to dig deep.
