I love leaving London.
And, you know, because the glamour and the hustle bustle is quite good to experience.
But, oh, I love going home and sitting in the middle of nowhere and looking out my window and just going, ah, green.
Again, because it's just coming through my brain as a message.
So, you know, they come all day long.
I mean, I was filming something this morning with other poets and I don't get to meet many other poets.
We're not a very common breed.
It's not like that, you know, you come across many in your life.
And we were having a chat and we just kept going, that's a poem.
Everything each of us said, that's a poem.
No, no, I'm taking that one.
You can have this one.
Because everything is a poem.
And that's the beauty of poetry.
It's about taking something that might seem insignificant and finding the perspective in it that actually is really important.
I think in the beginning I was worried that I might be influenced unknowingly somehow and copy someone.
You know, you have that paranoia in your brain that you're a really terrible person.
