And so I kind of avoided other people's poetry, which is so silly.
But now I read, you know, and especially love these young poets that are coming up, especially the men, because it's so vital.
And, you know, they're making emotions cool.
And I just think, yes, good for you.
No, because they just would not listen or read it.
Because you're telling them right now.
Because I'm telling them.
But if somebody else was to share it with them, I'm absolutely sure that they would listen to it and get the message.
So I just, you know, hope that it will happen by osmosis somehow.
And actually, it is happening by osmosis, silent osmosis.
They are picking it up, the concepts.
But if you want your children to take something on board, don't tell them it.
Either do it in front of them or find a way to find something that they can watch with someone else saying it or doing it.
Because they're so used to your voice, maybe in a nagging way or they think it's nagging, you know, tidy your room or whatever, that they just go into a mode when you start talking.
I can't imagine you nagging.
I nag my husband constantly.
