Another notion that these aren't your daddy's Steelers.

Unfortunately, that relates to winning championships often.

but we see more aggression in free agency and when it comes to notable trades.

So even if I don't expect the Steelers to pick off the top-tier free agents, I don't expect them to sit back on their hands either.

And for the sake of exercise here, I am going to assume that Aaron Rodgers comes back

to the Steelers.

I'm not going to list him as a free agent target.

So the mini spoiler is that I don't have a quarterback on this list.

It'll be five outside free agents that I would like to see the Steelers bring in.

And I'm going to keep it realistic.

I don't think any of these are impossible.

Not just the guys at the very top of everyone's list.

A couple of guys will warrant big money.

I have them at the top of my list.

But the others, they make sense for other reasons and they won't be a huge price tag.

I will also use the spot rack market value.

Those aren't always 100% accurate, but it does keep things consistent here.

I will start and cheat right off the bat.

I'm going to give two names that are number one on my list, a pair of receivers, because I have been gasping for air.

I'm a man that is in the desert when it comes to the Steelers finally finding a second viable wide receiver in their offense.
