He does have more recent playoff wins to his ledger, but I will defend Mike Tomlin here.

If you switched roles between Tomlin and McDermott,

Mike Tomlin is also winning playoff games with Josh Allen, and then maybe coming up short in the AFC title game or the divisional round.

He did, but I know that in the prime of Josh Allen, which is a window that is slowly starting to close, I think the guy would have won a couple of playoff games at the same time.

Limits?

I'm also wondering if they would move it to 16 to satisfy –

the idea of a Notre Dame or even a Texas, teams that feel like they got slighted, and also allowing one or two of the little guys, as you say, to make it in.

And on top of that, I do wonder, beyond Indiana, if there is any concern about the teams that get the automatic buy.
