I think there's a lot of reasoning towards that.

You signed Jaquan Brisker not because he's from here, but because he's a damn good football player.

And I feel like the reason why he didn't get a multi-year deal is because of that injury history with the concussions and missing 12 games in 2024.

You're talking about 93 tackles last year, 104 his rookie year, 105 his second year.

He's a consistent player.

I think that that was a great decision.

It might not even have been their decision because Willis maybe wanting to reunite with Halfley in Miami and the opportunity that he gets there with Jalen Waddell if they don't trade him.

Willis, to me, is just a one-game wonder.

The four or five touchdowns, whatever it was against Baltimore, that was a battered Ravens defense that went out and tried to trade Max Crosby for a reason and signed Trey Hendrickson for a reason.

They had no pass rush, but Link Willis was never under pressure.

When you could just stand back there and run around as well and be able to create open lanes and opportunities because the front seven for Baltimore was just so bad and beat up,

then of course you're going to potentially have that type of success when Matt LaFleur is your coach.
