I will also use the spot rack market value.
Those aren't always 100% accurate, but it does keep things consistent here.
I will start and cheat right off the bat.
I'm going to give two names that are number one on my list, a pair of receivers, because I have been gasping for air.
I'm a man that is in the desert when it comes to the Steelers finally finding a second viable wide receiver in their offense.
The first two names I have are Alec Pierce and Jawan Jennings.
They got aggressive last year in their pursuit for DK Metcalf.
Then they traded George Pickens not long after, which left them in the exact same dilemma that they were just in.
And it was a problem yet again.
They let it linger all season yet again.
Pierce and Jennings are both going to get around $20 to $25 million per year.
They're going to be a pretty high-priced second wide receiver in an offense, but we have seen all around the NFL that teams over and over again have had the ability to pay two wide receivers, especially when they have the quarterback position on the cheap.
they would absolutely improve the offense, both of them.
Pierce has led the NFL in yards per reception the last two seasons, 22.3 yards per reception in 2024, 21.3 in 2025.
He eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his career this past season, and he did it in just 15 games.
He's also only going to be 26 yards
as we enter and play out next season, a few years younger than Jennings.
So Pierce will be the top receiver target getting that big money.
He's a big play machine, and he can be a possession guy when he wants to be.
His catch percentage and success rate have improved every single season, regardless of who the Colts have had throwing him the football.
