I mean talk about production of a cover just skyrocketing it.
I mean the thing that they do with this song, adding the marching band horns and Beyonce's ad libs and her vocalization, it just makes it one of Beyonce's best songs in my humble opinion and makes you forget it's a cover altogether.
It's a love letter, which is another reason I love cover songs, is because they're they're love letters oftentimes to the song that came before it.
And it's here it's a love letter to black music history as well.
The marching band, the it's it's really incredible and you can really see all of her influences, like you said, tracked throughout the song.

What strikes me in this cover is the the frailty in his voice.
And something we talked about earlier is with
Covers that feel untouchable.
Often it is because the voice is so distinct.
But here he brings that uniqueness of his voice into the cover, which is why it becomes better.
