The album I want to talk about today is Who Loves the Sun, the third album from Oklahoma sludge rock band Chat Pile.
And last year I was pleasantly surprised to see that Chat Pile collaborated on an album actually with finger-style guitarist Hayden Pedigo.
And now the band has returned and they continue to build their incredibly vivid and brutal soundscape.
That paint a portrait of human suffering.
and greed, often in search for a kinder and more generous world.

The album I want to highlight is Leem's A Sunflower Garden in Harlem is hard to find.
The New York rapper's sophomore album chronicles his journey growing up in Harlem, and it serves as both a love letter to the city and a reflection on living in a place where independence is often found at a very young age.
What I love most about this album is that it's overflowing with vintage New York nostalgia and hip hop and pop culture references that let the listener decode all of the influences like a huge geographic scavenger hunt.
