Because they just showed the Penguins in the room, right?
And it looks like, with the third jerseys at least, they're not socks.
They're the actual pants underneath the big baggy pants.
I hated that.
I have gone every year for the last decade, I go and play pawn hockey with some of my buds, and I'll just get dressed at home and then put the skates on when I get there because it's such a... I'm sitting in the snow trying to pull on the pants and the shoulder pads and get the jersey over and your fingers are falling off, and it takes like 30 freaking minutes.
You wear those, dude.
The Velcro thing that you put.
You could even have your jockstrap, for lack of a better way of putting it.
It's got the Velcro there.
So your socks are supposed to come on.
After the first three times you wash them, it's done.
It doesn't work.
I've always thought about better ones.
And maybe because we're out here playing all the time.

Whenever I would play at Ice Castle, we played in the D League because I suck ass.
First time, I pulled my hammy, bending over, tying the skates, pulling the socks up.
