Explosions were heard in multiple cities across Iran this morning.

Israel says it targeted military facilities and a petrochemical complex in the southern city of Mashar.

A young man in Iran who asked to remain anonymous due to the risk of arrest for speaking to foreign media said the repeated cycles of war have made it meaningless to talk about fear or hope.

He says many people around him feel rebellious and nihilistic.

They wish for the destruction of everything, he says, just to free themselves from this chain of repetitions and the empty words.
