And now what you find, too, is standard issue kind of mainstream gift companies that are adding accessories to their assortment, right, to their production line.
They're like, we got to get in this, right?
So it's not just handbag designers.
It's classic gift companies that are trying to kind of break in as well.
So anyway, it's a terrific category.
Well, this is not necessarily on the trend side of consumer trend side of things, but more on the show side of things.
I think coming out of 2008, there was retail consolidation.
And what that ultimately has led to for the gift industry is there are
fewer maybe classic gift stores out there, but there are more stores selling gift product through channels, right?
So suddenly the garden store has a home and housewares point of sale area when you're buying your hydrangeas or whatever.
The hardware store has become a housewares and dinnerware store.
There are more stores selling gift product, even if there are fewer sort of classic Hallmark-type gift stores out there in the world.
So I think retail consolidation happened, but the gift industry figured out how to redistribute.
Yes.
Lifestyle.
Yeah.
And I think, you know, everything then started moving toward mass.
Right.
So the advent of Amazon and kind of the advent of Target and Walmart as the everything store and then.
some of these digital marketplaces that have sprung up.
