But to me, again, it's interesting that the screaming about winning happens and then in the same sense we're screaming about a lack of player development.
It's a lot of money.
It's a lot of money.
It's the rising tide lifts all.
The primary investment vehicle here is the consumer.
That this oversimplified reasoning that people have as to our success or failure at the national team level, the youth level, whatever, of, oh, it's the pay to play and that's the problem.
is a pretty weak response.
And so what we're trying to do is help people understand that it's not that simple.
And there are a lot more complex pieces of this
So, and so I don't know if you're ready or not, but I'm going to ask this now because I think, and you and I feel this way just from a leadership perspective that we hate when people just talk about problems and have no solutions.
Obviously on the last podcast, we talked about several solutions.
Your zone one solution I thought is brilliant.
A brilliant idea for a reasonably not huge investment.

Tell me what you're thinking as far as solutions.
Listen, by the way, also, my children pay to play high school sports.
So we are paying less, but we are paying also to participate in the sports they play in high school.
Particularly with our lacking professional infrastructure.
Right, because the top of the professional clubs, it's like a pinhole.
But in theory, you could have a really talented 12-year-old or 13-year-old that's been in your club for whatever, five years, six years, whatever the starting number is for these payments.
