Now this storm is also straining power grids.
Now the grid in Texas will be facing tight conditions through Monday as demand continues to climb.
And the U.S.
Department of Energy has ordered the grid operator in Texas to use backup features.

In Minneapolis, people brazed freezing temperatures last evening for protests and vigils after a second fatal shooting there by federal agents on Saturday.
Border Patrol agents shot and killed Alex Preddy, a 37-year-old ICU nurse, after he was subdued on his hands and knees.
Now, Preddy had a permit to carry a weapon, which the agents found on him before the killing.
The Trump administration is blaming Minnesota state and local officials for the fatality, calling Pretty a domestic terrorist.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison spoke at a press briefing earlier.
