Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told House lawmakers today the ceasefire with Iran remains in effect.
However, lawmakers pressed Hegseth on the cost of the war and the negotiations to end it.

Oil shipments from Iran's main export terminal appear to have come to a standstill over the past several days.
European satellite imagery compiled by Bloomberg show there were no ocean-going tankers observed at Karg Island on May 8th,
9th or the 11th.
Now, until recently, Iran has loaded cargoes at this facility throughout the conflict.
However, if Karg Island were to remain idle, it would increase pressure on Iran's remaining storage facilities.
The Senate confirmed Kevin Warsh's nomination to the Fed's Board of Governors today for a 14-year term.
And Warsh is expected to be confirmed as the Fed chair later this week by the Senate.
That vote is likely to occur on Wednesday.
This confirmation process comes as President Trump continues to push the Fed to cut interest rates.
