I feel like I benefited a lot by observing
that day off and just watching these guys go about their business.
So when you look at that, you realize a lot of young guys that come up are really thrown in the fire.
And they shoot through the minor leagues, by the way, at just epic paces.
So they're not going to be there very long.
and they're going to get up there quickly, and they have to learn on the fly, and the coaching has to kind of continue at the major league level more so than ever because they're so quickly shot through.
So I see that as, you know, when you have an opportunity to have young players, they come up and they have these chances to really prove themselves, and then you remember, like, gosh, this guy was drafted a year ago.
This guy just signed.
That is impressive, and I have great respect for a lot of the young guys that are able to come up
and make these kinds of adjustments and get a chance to shine because the game needs that youth.
And when young players do well, they carry the game into another generation.
That's different than the traditional, you know, kind of skewed older nature of the sport.
It brings it together in a great way.
So, you know, I see it as, you know, I see him and many other players as carrying a torch in some ways.
And, you know, I cheer for their success.
Thank you.
It's great to be on.
And how are you doing?
Everybody's well in Chicago?
They are.
