Spotify says its premium subscription price will increase by $1 to $12.99 a month, and U.S.
subscribers will feel that increase in February.
Spotify has more than 280 million paid subscribers, and the company has been under pressure to raise prices to keep them in line with increases by other consumer service platforms such as Netflix.
