There's a lot of hitting yardage out there, both punting and punt return, that a team like Ohio State shouldn't give up.

I understand that's the sexiest thing in the world, and

I'm not going to talk to people about what they were better at hitting yardage of Connor Hawkins, like Mrs. Whatever a 30 yarder to win a game next year.

But I think that that is where guys like Robbie disher, like really earn their keep.

Are you, are you efficient?

Which I don't think Ohio state has been efficient enough on special teams.

And like, are you making splash plays or you're blocking kicks?

Are you returning kicks again?

Like whether or not the guy makes a 25 yarder,

There's only so much you can do, I think, as a coach in that particular scenario.

I think it's 99% Connor Hawkins.

But I also guess it's like, well, it's it's also like snapper holder, I guess.

So they brought in a new long snapper.

Joe McGuire is the holder.

So like that whole operation obviously has to be clean and fast.

But that's still why we're talking like 97 percent the kicker.

I think you put it on whose decision it was to bring the kicker in.

You have to discern whether or not the guy you're bringing in can make clutch kicks.

And then his ability to do that or not is a referendum on your evaluation.
