Because just again, as a reminder, China has invested insane amounts of money in Venezuela.
They're still owed a lot of money back.
And the way they get paid back is through oil.
That has been their deal for two decades.

That's full-on war-starting stuff.

I mean, they haven't said anything official that I could find.
But if you ask the question of, is all this involvement, these changes, does it affect whether China would want to go and take Taiwan?
And I think most people would agree that China is probably more cautious about taking Taiwan because Trump has shown he's willing to do stuff.
Like he's willing to do things.
I mean, this Venezuela thing is crazy.
Talking about taking Greenland by force from NATO is fucking crazy, right?
And so in theory, I think there's a lot more danger to the Taiwan situation where it's never been clear if the US would actually put boots on the ground to defend Taiwan, right?
