And that's how I started caring about myself.

And then I was able to, to, to, to love people.

So, so, and I don't know where to go with that, man.

I think I'm still, you know, I've been clean 25 years, man.

I think I'm still processing this whole love piece, you know, this whole, um, and I don't think that's bad.

You know, I don't think it's bad.

It's like different layers and like, what does it look like to be loved and to love others and all that stuff.

And, and, um,

But getting clean, man, my self-esteem was just non-existent, Barb.

You know what I'm talking about?

I mean, it was just fucking, I needed you.

I needed the dudes at 12 Step Me, whether it was hard love and, you know, that shut the fuck up.

And that's how I came up in recovery.

But they never let a day go by that they didn't get me to a meeting, feed me afterwards.

I had to stay accountable to them.

Like, I was in.

And I felt that.

And that started something in here.

that comes in the room or, well, the last time we were outside, you know, not when the, before the chicken got loose, you were speaking, but there's this beautiful spirit, you know, that, that, that hits all of us.
