This is sort of the political center within the downtown of Caracol.
And what you have is you have a northern structure, Cana, which is still the tallest human-made building in Belize today.
It's about the height of the Statue of Liberty.
And the base is about two American football fields.
So it's this massive stone architecture, but it would have started as a small little household.
And then over generations, they build it up, build it up, build it up.
It's kind of like the White House, you know, it's serving this other role.
So it has these three different tiers on it.
And the first two tiers, you can see those public meeting rooms that are all facing front.
So if you're standing in this plaza and you look up, you can see who gets to go meet with whom.
You possibly have a little prison off to the side.
The northern building is more related to the ruler and the ruler's family with two private compounds, the private residential areas, to the northeast and northwest of it, filling out the upper space on the pyramid.
And then the eastern building itself, that's the ritual building, which is where the ruler's relatives are buried.
So you have multiple tombs.
