You have too many things to decide between.
And I think what often happens is sorting information is really hard for the ADHD brain, particularly if there's not a lot of stuff making it stand out.
And you might go from one shiny idea to the next.
So I think sometimes it's really important for the ADHD brain to decide I'm going to look at one thing at a time.
And it's, and it's challenging.
You know, there's some benefit to packaging certain things together.
I'm getting 15% off because I grabbed my car rental when I got my plane ticket.
You know, those things sometimes can seem appealing as you're packaging it together.
But I have the one at a time method that I look at.
And the other thing is having a travel checklist in advance because I can tell you a number of times I got my flight, I got my hotel and I got, when I was looking at car rentals, I got really distracted and it was annoying.
I'm like, you know, I'll come back to it.
And then I get to the car rental terminal and I'm like,
I didn't book one.
That's the one thing I didn't do.
And that really stinks because the discounts in advance are so much better oftentimes.
So really having a checklist for what you're doing.
And sometimes it's something that my daughter would do, the would you rather game.
Would you rather have a room with a view or would you rather have a little more money for this?
And creating a series of questions for yourself to prioritize some of your decision-making.
Because sometimes that can help you filter how you're going to approach the kind of vacation you're taking.
