It was like paint by numbers where there would be different points colored in with the details of her feelings and her memories that had not been conscious ever since she was three and a half years old.
she was just floating away, which is a form of dissociation.
She just blocked out what she was feeling then as much as she could, the pain of it, and pretended she was floating into heaven.

It's a form of self-abuse.
That was evidence to me of the intensity
of both her pain, her anger, and how her anger, though, was turned against herself, punishing herself.

My conclusion about Fort Scott, that in terms of her treatment and understanding what she needed and what was the cause of her behaviors, Fort Scott had nothing to do with it.
