So it appears to me that these will have been what she says they are, and that's possibly why the police don't pursue it any further.
It was just eleven o'clock when a closed carriage drew up to the rear of the courthouse.
A deputy sheriff stepped out of it and handed out his hand to assist Lizzie Borden.
The crowd pressed forward in a sort of frenzy to catch a glimpse of the woman, but she slipped quietly into the building before they were able to do so and walked quietly to her place in the prisoner's dock.
The theory of the prosecution is that Lizzie Borden was on bad terms with her mother in law, and that this enity with her knowledge that her father intended to change his will to favour Mrs.
Borden, incited her to the double murder.

I did not know the outcome of this case.
That's the first time that I'm and I know it exists in folklore and there's been movies and that there's been all kinds of comics and stuff, but that is not I didn't know what the verdict was.
And I am surprised, it has to be said.
But yeah.
