And, you know, being, you know, using this ocean as a recreational space is a really quite a new concept.

And

people thought choosing to work as a marine biologist was frivolous, you know, and that was one of the reasons why they were just like, oh, that's so cute.

Like, oh, it's such a cute little hobby you'll have, you know, because they pictured it being just a frivolous play thing.

And I think the fact that today it's such a recognized field, like Sri Lanka is, you know, really looking beyond that shoreline into what we can do next.

And

you know, signing global treaties and whatever.

It is amazing to see that change.

And I feel very proud because I know that in part my own journey has inspired this shift as well.

And so, yeah, it's amazing.
