So why do they merge this discussion with euthanasia?

because they are putting under question not only the transplantation program, but the morality and the legal behavior of our healthcare professionals.
And I think that's very serious.

About our organisation, about the doctors, about the hospitals, about the committees, about everything.
Because they are against euthanasia and we are absolutely respectful with people who don't agree with euthanasia.
Have you asked me if I'm pro-euthanasia or not?
No.
I will tell you, it's not your business, but I may not be in favor of euthanasia.
But in my country, euthanasia is legal.
And in my country, people who want to be an organ donor, my duty is to facilitate this, not only because of patients on the waiting list, because it is very good for these persons and for their families as well.
It is their wishes, and we need to respect autonomy.
