They have to be shielded, shrouded, boxed off, put in little cultic cupboards because they're so powerful to look at.

So even images of gods on the wall, we have evidence of little curtains.

You are maybe something else probably well to do.

And I really would emphasise the problem, as you know, as a historian, is we compare one culture with another, maybe inadvisedly.

So we've had the Greeks and the Romans more recently.

And so we think, ah, yes, goddess of love and god of war.

And it is not that clear.

It's not as delineated, yeah.
