So by the time they get to 50, they'll have a much higher vascular risk.
We negate that with HRT.
We bring them back to baseline, which is great.
But it shows you that it's more than just genetics and aging.
There's obviously some independent impact of oestrogen too.
Yeah.
I'd say if we were ranking common symptoms and the things that I hear from women on a daily basis, so number one would probably be cognition, the brain fog, and obviously hot flushes and night sweats, if they're there, get mentioned.
But I'd say weight gain is probably in my top three of what I hear.
And women are not telling me what they think are the most important symptoms.
They're telling me what's impacting them the most.
this is the symptom I want to get rid of the most type thing.
And they invariably mention weight gain in the top couple easily.
And like you said, I think for some women, it's that feeling of frustration.
I'm doing everything right.
It's not fair.
I'm barely eating or I'm calorie restricting.
I have a lot of women who'd be exercising a ton and they still have this central weight gain.
So that seems to be truly hormonal information.
The weight gain itself is more related to, again, aging and genetics because we know men gain weight between their 40s and 50s too.
And actually, if you go across the population, they're probably gaining similar amounts of weight.
