So it's a huge gap in the literature and we just don't know which types of hormone therapies might be helpful for cognitive symptoms, even though
social media and anecdotally a lot of women do report benefits.
We just don't have the evidence base for that at the moment and it's something that we need to do.
I guess the other thing that can be helpful that we're also experimenting with are different types of cognitive training strategies.
So these cognitive training strategies are used for healthy adults or people with
mild cognitive decline.
And there's also some early research that's looking at cognitive training for the cognitive symptoms of menopause.
So I think that's another area that research might lead us down and develop different ways for people to manage these cognitive symptoms.
It's something more structured.
So it involves education so people can learn about how their attention works, how their memory works and what practical strategies people can use to either compensate for any challenges in attention and memory, as well as train those skills.
