How are you going to take that data and organize it in a way that provides context to your patients, improves your outcomes, and lets you be ready for those inevitable quality reporting measures that are coming your way?
Start thinking about workflows that you want to augment or replace and think about how technology is going to play a role in that workflow transformation.
And then I think the third thing that ASCs need to think about is defining their culture.
A culture of iteration and innovation is going to be extremely important.
There's so many cases that are coming towards ASCs.
It's like a good problem to have.
But if you're not careful, this case mix that's going to all of a sudden show up at your facility could really change your workflows in a way that you're not ready for, affect your bottom line.
And I think that could be a really big problem.
And with those three things in mind, what ASC leaders should start to be doing now, as well as over the next 12 to 24 months, is identify your partners and start to iterate with them before a percentage of your reimbursement is on the line.
So that you have that chance to iterate, to change your workflow, to get your data in order so that when the stakes are real, you're not playing catch up, right?
So those would be my recommendations, right?
Like be at the cutting edge of this stuff, find use cases that you can silo and innovate and partner on, and then prepare for the future instead of just reacting to the present.

Yeah, there are bad partners.
You got to know how to vet a partner.
