And at some point later that night, as he's monitoring the sounds, he hears this kind of loud metallic grinding sound and then a loud scream and a huge thump. matched

He runs upstairs to the bedroom, he stands in the doorway, and what he's confronted with is this huge metal gas fire that has literally been wrenched out of the wall and then placed some distance in the floor. matched
