So it's the sort of thing where, yeah, you build your legacy.
And it's funny because in academia, you don't,
You don't really think about that until sometimes, especially how I work, I'm always kind of like, right, what's the next cool thing we're working on?
Is it an expedition here?
Is it another research project, another book or something?
But then sometimes it's good to stop and take a look back at stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, I've thought that.
Or somebody 200 years in future is like, what was Dean talking about?
Science was shit.
He's meant to be quick fire.
This is a slow fire, I think.
You can have time to think.
Let's think.
I'll stick just to something that immediately came to mind for me was...
One of the expeditions I was on in Chilean Patagonia.
So this is right down what the locals call the arse end of nowhere.
It's like right on the southern tip of Chile.
We were at the side of a retreating glacier where like fewer than 50 people in the world have been to this site.
Like absolutely remote, epic.
