What are you talking about?
This is like one of the coolest things ever.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So it would be watching documentaries or then sometimes you'd have like the phonetic spelling in a book.
But then it's funny, when you, as you've gotten older, you also realize that a lot of it is like BS as well.
So like you might be familiar with like the dinosaur Diplodocus.
Yeah.
I know growing up, I'd say Diplodocus.
Yeah.
But then when I speak to, I spent so much time now working in America and it's an American dinosaur.
You speak to Americans and it's like, no, no, the correct pronunciation is Diplodocus, not Diplodocus.
But growing up, it was always Diplodocus.
chances are there's probably some i don't know and that's one of the cool things about paleontology like with all the events and outreach that i do and that could be speaking to groups of say 50 but the biggest audience that i've spoken to kind of live is like 3 000 plus people and you always get that that opportunity where somebody's gonna ask you a question you're like yeah i don't know right it's good especially if it's a kid because for children who like really inspired by this stuff if they're like yeah dr lomax didn't know this answer it's good because they feel like they're on the same same page
And I love that sort of thing because you're always learning in science.
There's a good chance that I don't know some of this stuff.
i'm just gonna make it up stay with conviction all right so the first one that's uh i've never heard of that okay it's like real oh to be fair i don't i double checked them on the way here all right so i would call that i'd pronounce that as hue hue canathulus that's what i would say okay all right okay and this is the phonetic yeah that's bullshit no i don't buy that
The rest of them, apart from one more.
That one I haven't heard of.
There's probably somebody who's going to watch this, listen to this, and be like, how?
How did you not know that?
