But you go out looking for things like this.
I found this one near Whitby.
So the Yorkshire coast, I grew up collecting fossils there.
My mum, bless her, she'd always say to me, she'd be so supportive and say, hey, we'll go collecting fossils in Whitby.
And this was one I'd found probably not too long ago.
And what you're looking for here is the correct shape.
So it's what we call a nodule.
But in there, it's very clear that there's something there.
in that rock, and I know it's a fossil, but then what you can do, and hopefully with a little bit of paleomagic, and hopefully I'm not going to cut my finger off with this, Jack, you can give me a hand with this, so you can actually tap it open.
So it looks like that, yeah.
So the best one for that is if you think about like ammonite.
So this is a type of creature called an ammonite.
Pokemon got it from these ammonites.
And so this is a really water-worn ammonite.
But I know that if we manage to pop this open, hopefully it'll pop open perfectly, you'll have a perfectly preserved one on the inside.
And it's the sort of thing where you could just walk along a beach and you see pebbles.
That can totally change your perception of that and of time, geologic time.
But look, let's see if this works.
So if I hold that there, I'm going to give you this where we break the table.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
