So that's kind of the problem there.
So, you know, we just do not see that at the time, even amidst a lot of the witch panics, that the Mallies does anything.
And that's an important point.

Because I think that there is this tendency when we talk about history or when we talk about, indeed, like a gender history or anything like that, people look at history as though it's like one process of just things getting better
people getting more rights.
And what we see with the witch panics and belief in witchcraft is actually the opposite.
So it's something that people don't like actually digging into because they want to believe that in the early modern period, they're like, oh, it's the Renaissance.

And so, actually, everything just got more scientific.
Yeah.
Right?
Things get more scientific when we get to the Renaissance.
You see the opposite happening.

You know, medieval people are like, this is stupid and there's no way that this exists.
