So we have Odysseus leaving Troy.
He does a couple of raids on his way down.
He's not.
At that point, he's got all of his ships, all of his men.
If you remember back to the Proem of the Odyssey, it's talking about him trying to get a return home for his men.
So it's not just him here.
It's also him trying to kind of get all of his men home.
And we've also got Hecuba.
Not in the Odyssey, no.
But we've got a later tradition where Hecuba actually dives off the boat and turns into a dog.
This is in, perhaps to no one's surprise, Greek tragedy where things can get a little bit spicy.
But, you know, Hecuba isn't mentioned here, but, you know, that's part of his return.
In any case, we've got a couple of raids.

But then we enter into the world of fantasy and the world of reality.
And we go through a couple of different stops, basically, that Odysseus does on his way.
We have the Lotus Eaters, where Odysseus and his men eat the flower of the lotus that induces forgetfulness.
Now, obviously, that is probably the most dangerous thing you can do on your way home.
So Odysseus has to be the one to make sure that he's sort of bringing his men back into line and getting them back onto their ships.
And that's one of the adventures they have.
