I think the notion of making, like, for example, we know that public commitments are really good for keeping us on track.
So, you know, this is why we know that keeping your goals secret sometimes don't necessarily always result in you actually doing the thing.
So, you know, it might be that you want to say to people around you, like, I'm committing to this.
There's going to be a time when I want to quit.
There is going to be a time when I'm going to say that this is too hard and I want to stop.
And not having got to that hard bit yet, I'm going to ask you now, help me not quit.
So you get like your cheerleaders on board here and it's almost like, you know, in advance, I'm going to hit this hard bit.
Help me when I get there.
And then, so then it also points to who we're around.
Like who, that grit is often determined by the company that we keep, the environment that we work in.
Is this environment encouraging of growth?
Is it like enthusiastic or is it saying something like,
Oh, mate, that looks β I don't know, why are you bothering?
