Oh, look, it's it's my pleasure.

I love talking about this topic.

you know, it's a it's a big passion of mine, so always, always happy to come and have a yarn about it.

Mm-hmm.

Um, okay, well uh first and foremost I'm a Kiwi and a mum and a clinical psychologist in whatever order that is.

Um or whatever order that should go.

And I uh come over to Australia probably about

fourteen, fifteen years ago and it was supposed to be just a little

twelve month kind of stop because I'd just finished my PhD in O C D finish a clinical program and I was really broke so I needed to go and earn some money.

But I had eyes on um a really good sort of postdoc program over in England working with

you know, some some legends in O C D.

So I stopped over in Australia, fell in love and got married.

And then subsequently the point of the story is then I was like, Well, I can't go to England.

So and I love O C D so I better start the O C D Clinic Brisbane.

And, you know, from there I've always been a therapist at heart, even though I did

an academic PhD I think is a bit greedy because I kind of couldn't make up my mind as much as I love therapy.

I also did love um kind of experimental research and doing behavioural experiments and and looking at all these things.

But I just um am far too impatient I think for for academia.
