You know, when they're doing an exposure and maybe something goes wrong, they kind of just lean into it.
There's that kind of attitude in a way, like, Yes, we're anxious, yes we're distressed, but we're okay.
We're both sitting here.
It's planned.
We can do it.
There is a kind of give it a go and that's the thing with O C D that I think people get it wrong.
that the content scares them.
But missing point that these people are so motivated to get well, they're actually willing to embrace the distress, but you need to be confident to guide them.
And when you realised the method and the madness and the jigsaw puzzled through, it's actually quite addictive.
Actually is parallels to addiction with O C D.
Definitely, I think.
You know, I I mean I think it there's there's multiple reasons.
One it's it's because, you know, that whole and this is why I did what I did with my clinics, you know, the jack of all trades, master of none.
Like if you plop me in a seat with a completely different population, you know, I'd be probably fawning and fumbling and and not knowing.
So I think the beauty of it is we don't avoid it our clinic 'cause it's what we do every day.
