Maybe they have 15 minute slots, maybe 20, maybe 30 minute slots.
And they do that back to back all day.
I feel like I'm missing something if I'm not talking to the patient in psychotherapy.
And so I prescribe in the context of seeing somebody in therapy.
And medication, as I tell people, can be a part of treatment.
We talk about when it might be indicated and what does that mean?
And what are the risks?
What are the benefits?
What are possible side effects?
What are...
What happens if you don't take medication?
When we start, when are you going to stop?
All those things.
So we have conversations about that.
But I see medicine enter the picture as a part of treatment.
And I see it in particular when someone's not functioning throughout their day.
They're not getting through their day the way they should.
I think there are a lot of factors that play there.
Some of them are, do I know people on medication or do people get better on medication that I have heard have been on medication?
So I think people want to know that there's been some success or a reason to take it.
